DIMDEX 2014


Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition, DIMDEX 2014 will take place from 25 to 27 of March 2014 in Doha, Qatar.

DIMDEX is a unique event addressing the growing need for sophisticated naval equipment to control Middle East and North African offshore waters.

DIMDEX 2014 will provide an opportunity for companies producing high-end maritime technology to promote their products and services to an international and regional audience of high level government procurement personnel from navy and maritime security forces.

With the new Qatar Naval Base under construction and the MENA naval market predicted to spend up to USD 50 billion in the next 20 years, DIMDEX provides a critical platform that gathers senior delegations, key decision-makers, experts and buyers from all over the world to discuss the latest naval and maritime security solutions.

The 2014 show is set to be the biggest event yet attracting over 200 exhibiting companies, an increase in naval delegations, more strategic buyers and will provide a platform for the entire supply chain to do business, network and build new relationships.

DIMDEX 2014 will feature a high-level strategic conference, the Middle East Naval Commanders Conference (MENC), which will open the event and we are proud to announce that for 2014, further conferences will be added and will discuss, Unmanned Systems, Helicopters, Protection of Offshore Infrastructure and Maritime Border Security, C4ISR Technologies and Special Operations.

An extensive warship display at Doha Commercial Port and a brand new outside demonstration area will complete the event.

In 2012, DIMDEX received a total of 79 military delegations from 54 countries, over 9000 dedicated visitors from 54 countries and in excess of 160 exhibiting companies. With such a huge presence, DIMDEX is now firmly established as the Middle East's leading maritime and naval defence exhibition and conference.

DIMDEX 2014 will be held with the official support of the Qatar Armed Forces and hosted by the Qatar Emiri Naval Forces along with a strong commitment from neighboring countries naval defence forces.
