KATHMANDU (PTI): A high level Chinese army delegation on Sunday discussed military-to-military ties with Nepalese Acting commander-in-chief Netra Bahadur Thapa.
The eight member delegation of the People's Liberation Army of China led by Deputy Commander of the Tibet Military Command, Maj Gen Xia Aihe met Thapa at Army Headquarters.
During the meeting they discussed bilateral relations between the two armies and other matters relating to mutual interest, according to Nepal Army headquarters sources.
The delegation also paid a visit to the No. 10 battalion of Nepal Army situated at Kharipati in Bhaktapur district near Kathmandu.
The delegation will return to China on Monday after completion of their two day visit.
