Boeing B777F
BEIJING (BNS): The largest airline company of China will procure six Boeing B777F cargo planes, China Southern announced Tuesday.
“The deal was consistent with the (airline's) development strategy,” according to the company statement filled in Hong Kong’s stock exchange.
The company has declared US$264 million as the catalog price of each Boeing B777F, but the US aircraft maker has granted "certain price concessions," according to the statement.
The new aircraft will boost the carrier's cargo capacity, measured in available tonne kilometres. It will also enhance its operational efficiency, as well as the competitiveness of its cargo business, said the statement.
