NEW DELHI (BNS): Dignitaries leading a high-level delegation from countries such as Russia, Philippines and Saudi Arabia, visited the BrahMos pavilion on the inaugural day of Aero India 2025 being held at Yelahanka, Bengaluru.
Dr. Jaiteerth R. Joshi, DG (BrahMos), DRDO and CEO & MD, BrahMos Aerospace and senior officials of the JV enterprise interacted with the important visitors: Mr. Babich Mikhail Viktorovich, Deputy Director of Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC), Russia, Mr. Salvador Melchor B. Mison, Jr., Hon'ble Undersecretary for Acquisition & Resource Management, Department of National Defence, Philippines and high-level defence delegation members from Saudi Arabia.
The high-level defence delegation were briefed about the formidable BRAHMOS Weapon System and the major milestones the India-Russia defence JV has achieved over the years. CEO&MD and Russian delegation discussed about mutual cooperation & collaboration in the BRAHMOS programme, including prospects in the design & development of the futuristic BRAHMOS-NG variant. Mr. Aleksander Maksichev, JMD BrahMos Aerospace also interacted with the delegation.
BrahMos Aerospace, the JV entity between India’s DRDO and Russia’s NPOM, is showcasing various configurations - BRAHMOS land-attack, naval variants and the air-launched versions - of the world-class supersonic cruise missile system at Aero India 2025.
