BEL exhibits NCW technologies at Aero India 2011


Network Centric Warfare (NCW) technologies of BEL displayed at Aero India 2011.

BANGLORE (BNS): Bharat Electronic Limited (BEL) has showcased homegrown Network Centric Warfare (NCW) technologies in Aero India 2011.

NCW solution will include command and control systems, air space management, multi-sensor tracking, air defence simulation, battlefield management systems and coastal surveillance systems.

BEL will also demonstrate some new products and technologies including software-defined radio (SDR), the next-generation bulk encryptor and high data tactical radio.

The airborne products on display will include a radar fingerprinting system, a tactical datalink, digital flight control computer and identification-friend-or-foe systems.

A complete range of electro-optic equipment, including night vision devices, digital handheld compasses and advanced land navigation systems will also be displayed at the show.

BEL will highlight its entire range of subsystems that constitute Akash, indigenous guided missile air defence weapon system at its outdoor display in the air show.
