BAKU (BNS): Azerbaijan Army will soon receive 60 Orbiter and Aerostar unmanned air vehicles (UAVs) by the end of this year, the Azerbaijan Press Agency (APA) said on Monday quoting military sources.
According to a news report in RIA Novosti, the UAVs were built by Azerbaijan’s Azad Systems Company.
The facility in Baku assembled and manufactured the Aerostar and Orbiter unmanned air vehicles.
Azad Systems is a joint venture between the defence ministry of Azerbaijan and Israeli unmanned aircraft systems manufacturer Aeronautics.
