The 10th Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition will showcase military and commercial aviation milestones at Avalon Airport, Geelong, Victoria from March 1st to 6th, 2011.
The Royal Australian Air Force will celebrate its 90th anniversary at the Avalon.
The biennial air show is organised and supported by Australian Defence Force (in particular the Royal Australian Air Force) and the Defence Materiel Organisation of the Department of Defence.
Over 599 exhibitor companies from 17 nations participated in the Aerospace and Defence Exposition in 2009. The aero show will also celebrate the centenary of Australia’s first passenger flight.
The show will conduct several seminars and conference on various aviation, aerospace and defencee sections.
For the first four days, the show will be open for industry-only trade sessions, while the last two days will be open for public.
