NEW DELHI (PTI): Australian Defence Minister Kevin Andrews arrived in New Delhi on Tuesday and held discussions with the top leadership to enhance cooperation in the crucial sector.
Andrews met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and discussed ways to strengthen the "Indo-Pacific partnership".
His visit to India comes days ahead of the joint naval exercise between the two countries.
Andrews will hold delegation-level talks and meet his Indian counterpart Manohar Parrikar on Wednesday during which the 'Make in India' programme would be a key area of focus.
