EVRY (BNS): Arianespace and Eutelsat Communications have concluded a new contract of cooperation, for the launch of new satellites by 2012.
Under the contract, Eutelsat will receive launch diversity and schedule assurance for its significant in-orbit expansion programme of six satellites to be launched by mid-2013.
“This contract is our 26th with Eutelsat, one of the world’s leading satellite operators, and further evidence of the outstanding service and solutions offered by Arianespace,” Arianespace Chairman and CEO Jean-Yves Le Gall said.
The contract was signed in December 2010 between the two companies, for an Ariane 5 launch from the Guiana Space Centre for the French company Eutelsat Communications.
