CHENNAI (PTI): Group Captain Amar Ahuja has assumed charge as the Command of Air Force Station at suburban Avadi.
Ahuja, who was commissioned into the Indian Air Force in December 1984, succeeds Air Commodore P Ramesh.
A ceremonial parade was held on the occasion of handing over ceremony on May 31, a Defence release said.
Prior to taking up the new role, Ahuja had served various responsibilities including Command and Staff appointments at the IAF headquarters, it added.
