NEW DELHI (PTI): Aviation services provider Air Works Tuesday said it has been appointed to maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot Dassault Falcon's aircraft in India.
Air Works India has been appointed as the Authorised Service Centre (ASC) for Dassault Falcon and would initially serve as a Line Service Centre for all Falcon 900EX and 900 EASy series aircraft, the company said in a statement.
"We believe Air Works' commitment to meet or exceed the most stringent quality control requirements - of both our customers and the regulatory authorities - will continue to position us as the leading independent general aviation repair and overhaul facility in India," Air Works (Engineering) Vice President, GA MRO Nick White said.
Eventually, the Authorised Service Centre will expand its capabilities to include major inspections.
Besides, Dassault Air Works is an Authorised Service Centre for AgustaWestland, Bell Helicopter, Bombardier, Embraer, Garmin, Gulfstream, Hawker Beechcraft, Honeywell, Rockwell Collins and Superjet International.
The Falcon fleet in India is currently numbered at 20 and is expected to expand significantly in the next 5 years.
Air Works is qualified to maintain over 50 aircraft types for over 100 customers across 14 maintenance locations.
