LUCKNOW (BNS): Air Marshal Harjit Singh Arora, Vice Chief of the Air Staff, today visited the BrahMos pavilion at the ongoing DefExpo 2020 being held in the North Indian city of Lucknow.

BrahMos Aerospace, the producer of ‘world-class’ BRAHMOS supersonic cruise missile system is exhibiting the universal BRAHMOS supersonic cruise missile in land, sea, sub-sea and air configurations at the international exhibition.

Air Marshal Harjit Singh Arora, Vice Chief of the Air Staff was briefed about all the recent developments and achievements made by the powerful BRAHMOS Weapon System by Dr. Sudhir Kumar Mishra, CEO & MD, BrahMos Aerospace, DS & DG (BrahMos), DRDO.

The advanced BRAHMOS air-launched cruise missile (ALCM), after undergoing a series of successful test firings from the Sukhoi-30MKI fighter platform, was successfully inducted in the Indian Air Force (IAF) with the commissioning of the “Tigersharks” squadron of the frontline Su-30 fighter armed with the formidable weapon on January 20, 2020 at the Thanjavur air base in Tamil Nadu.
