Africa Aerospace and Defence 2014 (AAD 2014), the premier exhibition of air, land and sea on the African continent will open on 17 Sept 2014, with three trade days followed by two airshows and defence exhibition on 20th and 21st Sept. comprising of a world class airshow, mobility track demonstrations, parachute drops, aerobatic displays and many other static displays.
The 8th AAD will take place at AFB Waterkloof, Centurion, City of Tshwane, South Africa and is one of the world's premier Aerospace and Defence exhibitions and holds a prominent position within the Aviation and Defence calendar.
AAD 2014 will once again bring together various industries from the world to showcase the latest technological innovations.
Over 110 aircraft (civil and military) exhibited in the previous edition of the event in 2012. The event saw manufactures showcasing their latest civil and military aircraft both on static display and in flight demonstration.
AAD 2012 witnessed the parsence of 15 national pavilions, 347 exhibitors from 26 countries, 40 000 trade visitors from 101 countries, 61 official delegations from 26 countries, and 84 aircraft civil and military static display.
