Africa Aerospace & Defence 2010 (AAD 2010), an international air, land and sea trade show, will be held at the Air Force Base Ysterplaat, Cape Town in South Africa from 21 to 25 September 2010.
The biennial event – the largest exhibition of its kind in the African continent – will be hosted by the South African Government’s Trade and Industry, Defence, Transport and Science and Technology departments.
The exhibition will provide a platform for civil and military aviation, maritime and land-based defence technologies from across the globe.
The first three days of AAD 2010 will be exclusively for trade professionals and visiting official delegations, while the final two days will be open for general public.
The exhibition will provide an opportunity for 400 exhibitors from 35 countries to market their products in the African continent.
AAD 2010 has invited some 80 foreign delegations from around the world, mainly from countries like Africa, USA, Europe, Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
AAD 2008 was attended by around 80 officially invited foreign delegations, including 20 defence ministers from different countries.
