MOSCOW (BNS): The Boeing Company has signed a firm contract with the Russian Airlines Aeroflot for the supply of two Boeing 777-200ER and six Boeing 77-300ER.
According to ARMS TASS, catalogue cost of per aircraft is $232 million and $284 million dollars, respectively.
"The 777 has the payload-range capability, economic efficiency and passenger comfort to support Aeroflot in achieving its ambitious goals for growth, profitability and world-class service. We thank Aeroflot for this important order," Jim Albaugh, president and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, said.
Boeing has scheduled the first delivery of the aircraft in 2013.
The Boeing 777 is a twin-engine, long-haul airplane, distinguished by its fuel-efficiency, spacious cabin interior, range capability, commonality and reliability.
