Aero India 2011

Aero India 2011 - Asia's premier Air show will be held from 9th to 13th February 2011, at Air Force Station Yelahanka, Bengaluru.

The 8th International Aerospace and Defence Exhibition is organised by the Indian Ministry of Defence in association with the Confederation of Indian Industry, CII.

The biennial event is a dedicated global aerospace and aviation business activity, which allows the aviation and aerospace industry to promote and showcase their products and services to an international professional business audience.

In Aero India 2009, 592 exhibitors including 303 from 25 countries showcased their potential in technologies, products, innovations and aircrafts, over a period of three exclusive business days to the industry, government and overseas delegations. The participants included national pavilions, industry pavilions, private companies and public sector companies.

Aircraft manufacturers from various countries participated in the static and flying displays in addition to the Indian Air Force aircraft. The aircraft includes: the Cessna, Eurofighter, F16, F18 Hawker Beechcraft, Legacy 600, Super Hornets, MiG 35 etc. in addition to the Hawk, Tejas and Dhruv from India.

Official delegations consisting of Defence Ministers, Air Chiefs, and Minister’s of State from over 50 countries attended the Aero India 2009 with a first time participation from Chinese delegation.
