BEIJING (BNS): The Beihai Fleet of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) will conduct a four-day live-ammunition naval drill in the Yellow Sea, from September 1 to 4, according to a media report.
"The oncoming scheduled rehearsal will be held in accordance with the annual plan in a region, where exercises of the People's Liberation Army [of China] are traditional," RIA Novosti quoted the Chinese Ministry of National Defense in a statement.
The drill is an annual routine training, mainly aimed for the training of naval artillery's skills and shooting of shipboard artillery, the report said.
