China, Pakistan conduct joint air drill

The annual "Shaheen-5" aerial drill is being conducted in Pakistan and will conclude on April 30.

BEIJING (BNS): A joint air exercise between the militaries of China and Pakistan has started on April 9.

The fifth "Shaheen (Eagle)-5" drill is being held in Pakistan, the Chinese Xinhua news agency reported.

It will continue till April 30.

The previous edition of the drill, Shaheen-4, was staged in China last year. It featured fighters, fighter bombers and airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) aircraft.
