MOSCOW (BNS): Russian Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov on Tuesday said that figures indicate that the country sold approximately $10 billion in arms and military equipment this year.
"According to even the most conservative estimates, the export of military products in 2010 - to more than 60 countries - will exceed $10 billion," said Ivanov, as cited by RIA Novosti. Last year Russia sold more than $8.5 billion worth of weapons. It has been second only to the United States in global arms sales over recent years. Ivanov also added that Russia has new weapons orders from foreign customers exceeding $45 billion. Total Comments :
