The Pacific International Maritime Exposition will be staged from the 7 to 9 October. The event is staged every two years in Sydney, New South Wales.

Pacific which began in 2000 is widely recognised as the essential forum for the commercial maritime and naval defence industries in Australia and the Asia-Pacific and it provides a major international showcase for Australian industry and the nation's maritime and defence capabilities.

This trade only event is a vital shop window for local companies, especially small to medium enterprises, to present their capabilities to Australian defence agencies and Australian defence prime contractors, as well as to potential overseas customers.

A comprehensive programme of conferences, forums and symposia is also presented in conjunction with the Pacific Exposition, including the Royal Australian Navy Sea Power Conference, and science and technology focussed International Maritime Conference.
