The four-day event is beginning March 28 at Goa.

"The NICS system is developed by MKU's team in India and Germany. At its core is the CIBA (Custom and Integrated Body Armour) system.

"It is an integrated body armour with a health monitoring system that not only provides the lightest protection but also enables the combatants to remain connected to their communication and information networks by integrating and connecting all his devices, including hand-held computers and displays, personal radios and battery packs," said Vaibhav Gupta, Director MKU.

"The CIBA is complemented by MUKUT helmet and MACS (multiple accessory connector system) with whose help the soldier can connect multiple devices like NVDs (Night Vision Devices), mic and headset, cameras and torches to the system and battery packs," Gupta said.

He said MKU is also introducing a completely new range of electro optic systems at Defexpo 2016, scheduled to be held in Quepem taluka in South Goa.

"These (EO systems) include various thermal imaging devices, night vision devices, laser range finder and day EO devices.
