MOSCOW (BNS): Russia will deliver five to ten Su-25 ground attack aircraft to Iraq by September, according to a news report.

A RIA Novosti report quoting Russian Ambassador to Baghdad Ilya Morgunov said, the contracts for military hardware signed in 2013 are being implemented according to schedule.

The Su-25, build by Sukhoi Design Bureau, is a single-seat, twin-engine jet aircraft. The aircraft has been in service with the Russian Air Force for more than 25 years providing close air support for ground troops.
