KOUROU (BNS): The launch of an Ariane 5 rocket has been postponed for the second time in over a month.
The heavy-lift rocket which was to launch two telecommunications satellites from the Kourou spaceport in French Guiana on Friday could not lift off due to unfavourable weather conditions, European space transport agency Arianespace said. The European rocket was to place the ASTRA 1N and BSAT-3c/JCSAT-110R satellites into geostationary transfer orbit. This was the second time that the mission was postponed. The original flight was scheduled for July 1 but could not happen due to technical anomaly. Arianespace said it will announce the new launch date after weather conditions improve. Total Comments :
